Where it started
A lot of it came from my dad. He ran a concrete business for years, doing dirt work and foundations and building a name for himself in the community. He had done hundreds of jobs, built a loyal customer base, and he was excellent at what he did.
I remember riding around in the truck with him while he pointed out businesses he had poured the concrete for, parking lots he had done. But unless you already knew him, you didn't see any of it. Word of mouth had carried him for a long time. Then things started to change, and he wasn't showing up on social media where people were looking.
So I started helping. Videography, photography, and even a website built around the brand he already had. I had a front-row seat to the value my dad brought, and I knew that showing it to people would let him focus on what he did best, serving people and growing his business.
Why Thompson Creative exists
In 2020, when COVID happened, my dad got sick and passed. I couldn't do that work for him anymore, but I wanted to steward the gifts I believe God gave me and help other business owners the same way. In 2023 I started Thompson Creative.
I'm a filmmaker, a husband, and a father. Thompson Creative is how I help Mississippi businesses look as good online as they actually are. So many great local companies earned their reputation the hard way, and their content doesn't show it. I want to change that, and I want to build something that lasts for my family.
